Project Manager
Primary Responsibilities:
Effectively leading project teams in the study, design and construction of projects. Work will be primarily focused on private development work.
Preparation of work scopes and budgets for project execution and taking part in project execution planning.
Contributes to the development of project budgets, contracts, billings, collections, and schedules.
Facilitates in the commencement of construction and permit application process
Contacts and communicates with the client to develop the project scope and define specific aspects of the scope and proposals
Tracks and monitors scope changes and progress performance
Performs tasks associated with project coordination
Some travel may be required

Attend and participate in various meetings
Solicit material quotes and proposals
Review and comprehend construction drawings
Prepare material and project submittals
Review and comprehend contracts
Negotiate and prepare change orders
Prepare and maintain schedules
Applying for and obtaining permits
Coordinate with project owners and stakeholders
Coordinate with vendors and sub-contractors
Identify risks and problems
Develop and provide possible solutions
Lift and carry, on occasion, a minimum of 50lbs
Stand, walk, sit, jump, jog, scurry, sprint, be safe and have fun
Administer project docs and pay applications
Other related and reasonable duties as assigned
Construction Laborer
Clean and prepare construction site at the beginning, during and at the end of the workday by removing debris and garbage.
Operate powered machinery/equipment such as saws, drills, grinders, whackers and jack hammers to complete task designed by foreman.
Perform manual labor which includes digging using shovels and picks
Assist operators in their processes.
Unload and carry material to its site designated spot.
Direct incoming and outgoing dump trucks and oncoming public traffic.
Follow all instructions and safety rules.
Required Skills:
No experience is necessary but prefer experience with grading and earthwork.

Grade Checker
Reads civil plans to either mark or read stakes to determine grade specifications that guide earthmoving equipment operators in cut & fill, sloping, excavation and backfilling at different type of public and private sites with varying site conditions.
Uses conventional survey equipment, laser, Trimble GPS Rovers, base stations & GPS, along with takeoff files to lay and set grade.
Assists with other construction tasks such as preparation of worksite at the beginning and end of day.
Follow all instructions and safety rules.
Required Skills:
Minimum 2 years’ experience in grading and earthwork.
Experience with Trimble GPS systems.
Good communication skills.
Must have good DMV record.
